Betjie Privacy Policy
This policy explains exactly what personal data Betjie collects, why we collect it, how it is processed and stored, and what rights you hold over your information as a user of betjie.cam — including users based across Pakistan.
Introduction
Betjie ("Betjie", "We", "Us" or "Our"), accessible at betjie.cam, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals ("User", "You" or "Your") who access and use the Platform.
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes in transparent, plain-language terms the categories of personal data that Betjie collects, the purposes for which that data is processed, the legal bases relied upon, the circumstances in which data may be shared with third parties, how long data is retained, and the rights available to Users in connection with their personal data.
By registering an Account, accessing the Platform, or continuing to use any feature of betjie.cam, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, you must cease using the Platform and may request closure of your Account in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
This Policy applies to Users worldwide, including users based in Pakistan accessing the Platform from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and other locations. Pakistani users are advised that local data protection and privacy legislation may apply to the processing of their personal data in addition to this Policy. Betjie does not represent that this Policy is compliant with every applicable jurisdiction's privacy law, including any Pakistani personal data protection framework that may be in force. This Policy does not constitute legal advice.

3.3 Jurisdictional Note. Betjie does not hold a Pakistan gambling licence and does not operate a registered office in Pakistan. Pakistani Users acknowledge that their personal data will be processed outside of Pakistan and that protections available under Pakistani law may differ from those described in this Policy.

Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data protection frameworks require a legal basis for processing personal data, Betjie relies on the following:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to perform the contract with you — specifically, account registration, transaction processing, KYC verification and account management activities.
- Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable legal obligations, including anti-money laundering (AML) controls, fraud prevention requirements and record-keeping obligations under the operator's licence conditions.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing necessary for Betjie's legitimate business interests — including fraud detection, network security, responsible gambling monitoring and internal analytics — provided those interests are not overridden by your privacy rights.
- Consent: Where processing is based on your consent (for example, marketing communications), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
How We Use Your Data
Betjie processes personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected, or for compatible purposes that Users would reasonably expect. The primary purposes of processing are:
- Account management: creating and maintaining your Account, processing deposits and withdrawals, and communicating account status updates to you.
- Identity and age verification (KYC): verifying your identity, confirming you meet the minimum age requirement of 18+, and satisfying AML and fraud prevention obligations.
- Platform operation and improvement: monitoring platform performance, diagnosing technical issues, analysing usage patterns to improve the user experience for Pakistani and international users alike.
- Responsible gambling monitoring: tracking account activity to identify indicators of problem gambling behaviour, applying self-imposed limits and honouring self-exclusion requests.
- Security and fraud prevention: detecting, investigating and preventing fraudulent transactions, account takeover attempts and other security threats.
- Customer support: responding to your enquiries, complaints and support requests in English and, where requested, in Urdu.
- Legal and regulatory compliance: meeting record-keeping, reporting and cooperation obligations under applicable law and licence conditions.
- Marketing communications (with consent only): sending promotional offers, bonus notifications and platform updates where you have opted in and have not subsequently withdrawn consent.
Betjie does not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces significant legal effects on Users without human oversight, except where expressly required for fraud prevention or KYC verification processes and where you are notified accordingly.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
7.1 Betjie does not sell personal data. Personal data is never sold to third-party advertisers, data brokers or unrelated commercial entities.
7.2 Authorised Disclosures. Betjie may share personal data with third parties only in the following circumstances:
- KYC and identity verification providers: third-party identity verification platforms that process document data and liveness checks on Betjie's behalf under data processing agreements.
- Payment processors: financial institutions and payment technology providers — which may include processors connected to local payment methods referenced for context (such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah) — to the minimum extent required to process transactions. These references are contextual; Betjie does not claim a formal data-sharing relationship with any specific named payment provider unless confirmed in the cashier at the time of transaction.
- AML and fraud prevention services: third-party screening platforms used to satisfy anti-money laundering obligations and detect fraudulent account activity.
- Regulatory and law enforcement authorities: where Betjie is under a legal obligation to disclose personal data to competent authorities, including in response to a lawful court order, regulatory request or law enforcement inquiry.
- IT and hosting infrastructure providers: cloud hosting, content delivery and database service providers who process data on Betjie's behalf solely as Data Processors under documented contractual arrangements.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or business restructuring, personal data may be transferred to a successor entity subject to equivalent privacy protections.
7.3 All third-party Data Processors are required to process personal data only on documented instructions from Betjie, to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, and to comply with applicable data protection obligations.
KYC & Identity Verification
8.1 Purpose and Necessity. Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is a fundamental requirement of responsible platform operation. It enables Betjie to confirm User identity, verify age (18+ minimum), prevent fraud, satisfy AML obligations and protect both Users and the platform from misuse.
8.2 Documents Accepted. The following document types may be requested during KYC verification:
- A valid Pakistani Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) or current national passport as primary identity verification.
- A recent utility bill, bank statement or official government-issued document as proof of residential address, where required.
- A clear selfie or real-time liveness check confirming that the person submitting the document matches the identification provided.
- Proof of payment method ownership (for example, a screenshot of a JazzCash or Easypaisa account in your registered name, or a bank statement from HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank or Bank Alfalah), where required to verify the source of funds.
8.3 Secure Submission Only. KYC documents must be submitted exclusively through the Platform's secure HTTPS verification portal. Betjie will never request sensitive identity documents via unsecured email, social media direct message or third-party chat applications. If you receive a request for documents through any non-official channel, treat it as suspicious and report it to support immediately.
8.4 Document Integrity. Submission of falsified, altered, obscured or otherwise manipulated documents is strictly prohibited. Such conduct constitutes a material breach of the Terms & Conditions, will result in immediate Account closure, forfeiture of funds and, where legally required, referral to relevant authorities.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
9.1 What Cookies We Use. Betjie uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. The main categories of cookies used are:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Session management, login authentication, security functions — without these the Platform cannot operate | No — technically essential |
| Functional | Remembering user preferences (language, currency display, session settings) | No — part of service delivery |
| Analytics | Understanding how Users navigate the Platform — page views, session length, feature usage — to improve the interface | Yes — opt-in |
| Marketing | Tracking interactions with promotional content for personalisation and re-engagement (where consent is given) | Yes — opt-in |
9.2 Managing Cookies. You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the functionality of the Platform. Detailed cookie preferences can be managed through the Platform's cookie settings panel where available.
Data Retention
10.1 Betjie retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. General retention guidelines are as follows:
- Account data: retained for the duration of the account relationship and for a defined period following account closure, as required by AML record-keeping obligations and the operator's licence conditions.
- KYC and identity documents: retained for the period mandated by applicable AML legislation in the operator's licence jurisdiction, typically a minimum of five (5) years following the end of the customer relationship.
- Financial transaction records: retained for the period required by financial record-keeping regulations, typically a minimum of five (5) years.
- Support communications: retained for a reasonable period (typically up to two (2) years) sufficient to resolve any outstanding disputes.
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymised where possible; raw session data retained for up to twelve (12) months.
10.2 Upon expiry of applicable retention periods, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised in accordance with Betjie's data deletion procedures.
International Data Transfers
11.1 Betjie's platform infrastructure and third-party service providers may process personal data in jurisdictions outside of Pakistan and outside of the operator's principal licence jurisdiction. Where personal data is transferred internationally, Betjie takes steps to ensure that the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or equivalent mechanisms under applicable data protection law.
11.2 Pakistani Users should be aware that data protection standards in the countries where data is processed may differ from any privacy protections applicable in Pakistan. Betjie does not represent that cross-border data processing is conducted in accordance with any specific Pakistani data protection framework. Users are advised to review this Policy and the Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting personal data.
Your Data Rights
Subject to applicable law and Betjie's legitimate interests (including legal obligations and fraud prevention requirements), Users may hold the following rights in relation to their personal data. The availability and scope of each right depends on the applicable data protection framework in the operator's licence jurisdiction:
Your Data Rights at a Glance
These rights apply subject to applicable law and Betjie's lawful processing requirements. Contact support to exercise any right.

Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer required for the original purpose, consent has been withdrawn, or processing is unlawful — subject to Betjie's legal retention obligations under AML and licence rules.
Right to Restriction
You may request that processing of your personal data be restricted in certain circumstances — for example, while the accuracy of data is being contested or a legitimate interest objection is being assessed.
Right to Portability
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format to transfer to another provider.

You may object to processing based on Betjie's legitimate interests — including profiling for marketing purposes. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting support or using the unsubscribe mechanism in any marketing email.
How to Exercise Your Rights: Submit a data rights request to the Betjie support team via Live Chat, the Help Centre or at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link). We may require identity verification before processing any request. We aim to respond within thirty (30) days. Betjie does not charge a fee for exercising data rights unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Data Security
13.1 Betjie implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration or disclosure. These measures include, without limitation:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and betjie.cam, verifiable via the padlock indicator in your browser address bar.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) available for all User Accounts to protect against unauthorised access.
- Access controls limiting personal data access to authorised Betjie personnel and Data Processors on a strict need-to-know basis.
- Heightened security controls for sensitive data categories, particularly KYC identity documents and payment information.
- Regular internal reviews of security practices and Data Processor agreements.
13.2 User Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own Account credentials. Betjie recommends using a strong, unique password for your Account and activating two-factor authentication. If you suspect that your Account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact support immediately.
13.3 Data Breach Notification. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, Betjie will take steps to notify affected Users in a timely manner in accordance with applicable law and will implement containment and remediation measures promptly.
Minors & Age Verification
14.1 The Betjie Platform is strictly for use by adults who are at least 18 years of age, or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction. Betjie does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the minimum age requirement.
14.2 Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process. Where Betjie becomes aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under the minimum age, that Account will be immediately closed, the data will be deleted in accordance with applicable law, and any deposited funds will be returned through the original payment method after identity confirmation.
14.3 Account holders who share devices with minors are advised to maintain strict control of login credentials and to use parental control software to prevent underage access to gambling platforms.
Policy Amendments
15.1 Betjie reserves the right to update, amend or replace this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users via a prominent notice posted on the Platform prior to the change taking effect and, where applicable, by notification to the registered email address on the User's Account.
15.2 The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this document. Continued use of the Platform following publication of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the revised Policy, you must cease using the Platform and request Account closure.
15.3 Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically, particularly before submitting new personal data or conducting significant financial transactions through the Platform.

Six Ways Betjie Protects Your Privacy
A plain-language summary of our core data protection practices for Pakistani and international users.
SSL-Encrypted Transmission
Every byte of data you transmit to betjie.cam — from login credentials to KYC documents and payment details — travels over an SSL/TLS-encrypted connection. Check the padlock in your browser address bar to confirm the secure connection is active.
We Never Sell Your Data
Betjie does not sell, rent or lease personal data to third-party advertisers, data brokers or unrelated commercial organisations. Data shared with third parties is limited strictly to what is required for operations, compliance and fraud prevention.
Minimal Data Collection
We collect only the personal data that is genuinely necessary for the stated purpose. We do not collect excessive categories of information and we do not retain data for longer than required by law or legitimate business need.
Strict KYC Document Controls
Identity documents — CNIC scans, passport copies and liveness images — are processed with heightened security controls, accessible only to authorised verification personnel and relevant Data Processors, and retained only for the period required by applicable AML rules.
Meaningful User Rights
You can access, correct, port or request deletion of your personal data. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time. Data rights requests are handled in good faith within a reasonable timeframe — not brushed under the carpet.
Transparent Policy Updates
Material changes to this Privacy Policy are communicated to Users before they take effect — via Platform notice and, where applicable, email. The revision date is always displayed at the top of this document so you know exactly which version applies.
